Kelli Dunlap holds a doctorate in clinical psychology and is currently a graduate Fellow in Game Design and Persuasive Play at American University. Her professional interests and experience are focused on the intersection of mental health and technology with a specific focus on video games. Dr. Dunlap has presented at national conferences on topics pertaining to the collision of psychology and technology and has been published in the Games for Health journal. In addition, Dr. Dunlap herself is a life-long gamer and is an active member of the Halo community. The only thing she loves more than psych and tech is her beagle, Ellie.

Josué Cardona was formerly a biomedical engineer and holds degrees in Electronics and Mental Health Counseling. He is currently an educator and mental health clinician. In 2011 Josué launched GeekTherapy.com with the tagline “How Geek Culture is Saving the World” as a hub for news on the positive effects of video games, comic books, pop culture, and new tech. Josué hosts the Geek Therapy Podcast and frequently lectures at pop culture conventions and professional conferences. He’s currently on a mission to disrupt the mental health space with educational technology and things that haven’t been invented yet.
